The SEC entered a final consent judgement in the 2023 case against Kevin A. Van de Grift, a day-trader and certified public accountant, who learned from a former consultant for Francisco Partners Management, L.P., material nonpublic information concerning the firm's potential acquisition of Verifone Systems, Inc.
