Andy Green was a senior examiner with the SEC for over 20 years before his departure in 2025. After spending much of his award-winning career in the SEC’s Philadelphia Regional Office, he became an inaugural member of the SEC’s national Private Funds Unit in 2016. While at the SEC, Mr. Green led numerous examinations of hedge fund, private equity, real estate, and CLO complexes. Mr. Green also has extensive experience leading examinations of other varieties of 1940 Act-registered investment advisers as well as registered investment companies. He obtained the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2013 and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia. He earned his Masters in Business Administration from LeBow College of Business at Drexel University.
