Ashley Mendelsohn has over 25 years of experience in financial services, fund operations, and regulatory compliance. Prior to joining Standish Compliance, she served as Chief Compliance Officer of several SEC-registered investment advisers, including a multi-family office, a large institutional asset manager, a bank-affiliated investment adviser, and a private fund adviser. She has experience with a range of products, including managed accounts, private funds, registered funds, UCITS, and CITs. Her experience also includes serving as Chief Compliance Officer of an open-end mutual fund. She has also worked as a Senior Principal Consultant within the US Regulatory division of ACA Group. She began her career as an investment banking analyst.
Ms. Mendelsohn holds a bachelor’s degree from Duke University and an MBA with a concentration in finance from the University of Alabama, where she was selected as a Blackburn Institute Fellow. She holds the Investment Advisor Certified Compliance Professional designation as well as the Certified Securities Compliance Professional designation. She is also a member of the Society of International Business Fellows.
