As the Director of Client Development, Presley Valenzuela leverages her expertise in business consulting and regulatory compliance to develop a deep understanding of client needs and deliver tailored solutions to private fund clients. Prior to joining Standish Compliance, Ms. Valenzuela worked as a Vice President at Goldman Sachs, where she played a key role in managing regulatory engagements and relationships with regulators, including the SEC, NFA, and CFTC, across multiple lines of business, including Global Banking and Markets and Asset Management. She also worked in the Asset Management business, specifically focusing on key regulatory remediation efforts, leading efforts to develop and execute a compliance program focused on ERISA and applicable exemptions, including the Qualified Professional Asset Manager exemption. In addition to her compliance experience, Ms. Valenzuela previously worked providing strategic consulting related to financing solutions for small businesses focused on growth. She earned a JD from Chicago Kent College of Law with a focus in regulatory compliance, and her Bachelor of Arts from Purdue University.
